What I love most about working at St. John’s:
I love being able to teach our Catholic faith to the young minds at Saint John’s. This is my 20th year of teaching kindergarten, but my first year at a Catholic School. I am a life-long Catholic and my faith is the most important thing in my life. Teaching in a Christ-centered environment, where we pray throughout the day, enhances my teaching in every aspect. I am blessed to be a part of the Saint John’s family as a parent and a teacher.
Where I’m from:
Born and raised in Raton, NM
Interests and Hobbies:
I love reading, camping, spending time with my family and watching the Denver Broncos.
A personal note:
My husband Eric and I have been married since 2004. We have two daughters who both attend St. John’s.
Best faith experience:
I feel that two faith experiences have impacted my life and my relationship with God. I attended World Youth Day in 1993 when Saint Pope John Paul II visited the Mile High City. This was a life-changing experience, as it helped me to better understand and love my Catholic faith. In 2015, my family and I attended the World Meeting of Families where Pope Francis visited Philadelphia. This trip helped me understand my role as a parent and the importance of centering our family around Jesus.
