Education:
I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in English Education from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO.

What I love most about working at St. John’s:
I love being able to create my own lesson plans and teach St. John’s middle school students language arts the way I think is most effective, most enlightening, and most fun.

Where I’m from:
I am a Colorado native and have lived all over the Front Range. I attended most of middle and all of high school here in Loveland.

Interests and Hobbies:
My hobbies are reading, writing, drawing, and Sherlock Holmes.

A personal note:
I’m so passionate about Sherlock Holmes I designed a unit plan for teaching The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes as my senior Honors thesis – a unit I now teach in the 7th grade. You can see it here: http://sherlockholmesthesis.weebly.com/.

Favorite thing about teaching:
My favorite thing about teaching is getting to interact with kids every day. They are so honest, hilarious, and sincere.  They are some of my favorite people in the world.
