What I love most about teaching at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic School:
My faith is the center of my life, and it is a joy to share that faith with my students each day teaching in a Catholic Christian school. I am so excited to be teaching fourth grade at St. John’s. Many years ago, my three children attended St. John’s, receiving a strong academic education and solid Catholic Christian values. This legacy of excellence continues at St. John’s today. Before teaching at St. John’s, I taught fourth grade at Saint Mary Catholic School in Greeley for eleven years.
Where I’m from:
I have lived most of my life in Colorado. I grew up in Boulder and moved to Loveland in 1979 with my husband. My husband and I lived in Greeley for a short time recently, but now we are back home in Loveland.
Interests and Hobbies:
When I am not teaching, I enjoy gardening, quilting, reading, mountain hikes, and spending time with my wonderful family.
Personal Note:
My husband and I have been married for 44 years. We are blessed with three adult children, who also devote their time to teaching.
Why I teach:
I believe that God called me to the ministry of teaching in a Catholic Christian school. I also believe that God has blessed each of us with talents and gifts that we must use for his glory. Each day it is a joy and a privilege to encourage children to recognize and develop those talents and gifts in a faith-filled community.
